Veterinary, Animal Services Programs

  • The one-year, full-time Veterinary Assistant Program is designed to train students for careers as Veterinary Assistants, providing essential support to Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in the animal welfare industry. The program ensures Veterinary Assistants are well-prepared to handle customer service excellence, office management, client education, patient care, and animal handling. They become integral members of veterinary teams, enhancing hospital efficiency and effectiveness. The skills acquired are also applicable in other settings, including boarding kennels, pet daycares, and animal rehabilitation facilities. Students gain practical experience through a 160-hour internship at an animal welfare establishment of their choice.
