The Hair Program at Hair Design Centre prepares students to become licensed hairstylists through comprehensive hands-on and theoretical training. You’ll learn hair cutting, colouring, styling, and chemical treatments, alongside essential topics like sanitation, client consultation, and salon operations. The curriculum aligns with the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia (CANS) requirements, preparing students to write the CANS certification exam to receive their license in Nova Scotia. The program also includes On The Job Training (OJT) to help students transition into the workforce.
